For every institution that has access to digital learning, there are at least 10 that do not. Identify a few in your community.
Identify needs - both tech and non-tech
Talk to stakeholders in identified institutions and understand gaps - infrastructure, computer labs, internet access or teachers
Source tech and non tech resources
Run a donation drive (cash and kind) to source resources for beneficiaries. Identify volunteers at your chapter to help you.
Deliver and deploy tech infrastructure and volunteers
Work with beneficiary school management to set up the infrastructure and connect them to volunteers
Sustained engagement to ensure real benefit
Connect beneficiary learners with free online resources (like IBM SkillsBuild, among others) and volunteer sessions
Mentoring and technical support
Mentor learners, teachers and help them leverage their technology platforms to the fullest.
